When temperatures drop, your body prioritizes the vital organs in your core. The fine mesh of capillaries that delivers valuable warmth to your fingers and toes is the first thing to suffer. Essentially, the body sacrifices less important parts in an attempt to save the organs that are essential for survival.

More than 82 million people are currently fleeing their homes due to war, persecution and disaster. Half of them are children.

UNHCR is present in 135 countries globally to support vulnerable children and families. Specifically, UNHCR provides aid in refugee camps and hard-to-reach areas for as long as help is needed.

For the second year in a row, HESTRA is partnering with UNHCR to keep refugee children warm through the winter.

Through the end of October, HESTRA will donate one pair of gloves for every pair sold to support refugee children and UNCHR’s efforts around the world.
