Hestra’s Heli Ski glove was originally created for Canadian ski guides who needed a reliable, warm ski glove for long days of snow and cold. What could be better for ski-happy juniors heading off into the woods, pistes or park as soon as they get a spare minute? Just like the adult version, this 3-finger children’s glove is sewn in hardwearing goatskin and weather-resistant 3-layer polyamide. The fleece liner is removable and has warming G-loft synthetic insulation. A wrist strap reduces the risk of losing a glove when taking it off on a lift to use a phone or adjust goggles. There’s also an eyelet and finger loop for hanging the glove up. A hardwearing, warming winter companion in all kinds of ski terrain all season long. The reMix Mitt is a hardwearing mitten made from waste materials – treated goatskin and cowhide which wouldn’t otherwise be used in ordinary production. Using leather with minor visual defects or variations in colour is a way of helping to reduce waste without compromising on function or quality. The design is classic with a short cuff and elasticated wrist, with sections in contrasting colours creating an attractive, unique look. The wool liner is removable, making it easy to wash or dry. When the liner is worn out, it can be replaced – another way of using our resources sustainably. Note: Because this mitten is made from waste materials, it is only available in a limited edition.

The Abisko Ecocuir is a long winter mitten in sustainable materials with a removable warming wool liner. The outer glove is sewn in hardwearing, weather-resistant Ecocuir cowhide, tanned without using chrome or synthetic dyes. The backhand is in cotton/polyester fabric, waxed to create a surface that withstands wind and moisture. The fabric is breathable, a plus when you are active and sweating in severe cold. The wool liner has a double layer of wool fleece on the backhand and the functional properties of the wool mean it keeps you warm even if it gets damp. It can easily be removed to wash or dry. A long cuff stops snow getting in and a Velcro strap adjusts the width round the wrist. Hestra's Army Leather Heli Ski was originally created for ski guides in western Canada who needed a reliable and warm ski glove for long, cold days in the snow. This women's mitten has a narrower cut to fit women's narrower hands. Like all mitten versions, it provides plenty of space for the fingers, making it warmer than the equivalent glove. The outer glove is sewn in a hardwearing, weather-resistant combination of goatskin leather and 3-layer polyamide fabric. A range of smart functions come in handy when you can't head indoors to warm up that often. For example, the liner is easy to remove and dry, or replace with a thinner inner glove when you're being more active and hiking uphill. In powder snow, the long cuff with snowlock and wrist adjustment keep the snow on the outside and the warmth on the inside. A wrist strap reduces the risk of dropping a glove if you take it off to adjust your equipment or use your phone. And the included carabiner means you can hang the glove up with its opening facing downwards – practical while you're wearing just a thinner liner and want to avoid your gloves filling up with snow.
