The Power Heater Gauntlet Mitt is designed for skiers who don’t want to let frozen fingers ruin a good day on the slopes. As a mitten, it offers extra warm comfort, with a hardwearing goatskin and softshell outer and a waterproof and breathable CZone membrane. The liner is made of microfleece, with synthetic insulation that insulates and wicks away moisture. Too big a glove will mean a greater distance between the heated panels and the fingertips, thus reducing the heating capacity. If you have a very narrow hand, you should consider going down a size. An alternative option is to use a heated liner combined with a traditional ski glove. [/br] You can test the heating function by fully charging the batteries and turning the heating system to its highest setting. After a few minutes, put on the gloves and all your fingers should feel distinctly warm.
