  • Heater Gauntlet - mitt

    Price: 4.600 kr

    • Heated
    • Waterproof
    • Windproof

The Power Heater Gauntlet Mitt is designed for skiers who don’t want to let frozen fingers ruin a good day on the slopes. As a mitten, it offers extra warm comfort, with a hardwearing goatskin and softshell outer and a waterproof and breathable CZone membrane. The liner is made of microfleece, with synthetic insulation that insulates and wicks away moisture. [/br] On colder winter days, heated panels on the fingertips help keep your hands warm.* The heat is adjusted in three steps with an easily accessible control in the Hestra logo on the backhand. Replaceable and rechargeable batteries and a charger are included, as well as wrist straps to make sure you don’t drop the glove. Velcro adjustment at inside wrist, and a battery pocket in the cuff. [/br] Perfect for many outdoor activities on chilly winter days, and ideal for lift-served skiing and when you’re a little further away from the prepared slopes. Also available in a 5-finger version. [/br] HEATING TIME: Low: 10 hours, Medium: 5 hours, High: 2.5 hours. [/br] *NB: At highest power, the heat in the panels is close to body temperature, supporting the hand’s own warmth – they will therefore not feel ‘hot’ when you put the glove on. It is this supporting warmth combined with the insulation in the glove that helps to keep the fingers warm. [/br] The right size is important to ensure the heated panels work properly. Too big a glove will mean a greater distance between the heated panels and the fingertips, thus reducing the heating capacity. If you have a very narrow hand, you should consider going down a size. An alternative option is to use a heated liner combined with a traditional ski glove. [/br] You can test the heating function by fully charging the batteries and turning the heating system to its highest setting. After a few minutes, put on the gloves and all your fingers should feel distinctly warm. Keep the heated panels on at the highest setting and check that the heating system’s LEDs remain lit for about 2–2.5 hours (applies to 4000 mAh battery pack). [/br] NB: The electronic components in the glove may interfere with avalanche equipment/transceivers.

  • Army Leather Extreme - mitt

    Price: 1.800 kr

    • Removable Lining
    • Windproof

The Army Leather Extreme is one of Hestra's warmest models, designed for severe cold and really tough weather. It has the same hardwearing outer as Hestra's other Army Leather models but extra strong high-function G-Loft insolation. Perfect in cold winter climates and for lower levels of activity, e.g. dog sledding, or snowmobile riding over long distances. The liner is removable and easy to dry or wash. Or replace with a thinner lining if the temperature or activity levels rise. The microfleece liner is comfortable against the skin, and the synthetic insulation adds warmth and wicks away moisture. The model is designed to perform reliably with a high cuff that shuts out snow and cold. The snowlock is easily adjusted with one hand, as is the wrist width. A favourite with skiers, adventurers and other open-air professionals who spend long days outdoors in severe cold.
